This painting is about new beginnings.
In the image, the triangles interlock in such a way that the point of one touches the middle of the base of the other. This symbolizes a pattern in the Universe, where the smallest and the largest are connected at the same point. We can look at many things in life through this pattern, for instance, the present is a small point in our lives, but it is also the largest point, since it represents the oldest we’ve ever been.
Try instead to understand the manifestations of what’s affecting you to lead to a bigger picture. A cow in a cowshed might not be able to grasp that it’s part of a larger milk industry but it may understand that it is caged.
Always look for new connections and treat them as if they could potentially be very important for the future. Treat a slave the same as you would meeting a king. The more we do this, the stronger our connection becomes to the bigger picture and to each other.
This painting reminds you to connect to roots and ancient energy. There are answers that lie within this connection. Every energy has a purpose. Although we cannot see it, we can feel it. Feel the energy to try and understand it.
The Way of the Samarai would say that a real warrior knows when not to fight, knows that real power is in that knowledge. The fearless warrior knows how to stand her ground without fighting, yet does not fear to fight if or when it does become necessary.
The choice to climb holds the promise of a big blessing, but you must accept that you may get burned along the way. Climbing the ladder, therefore, requires practice and self-awareness to ensure safe passage.
Freedom is a condition you must demand! Freedom is a state of mind — and upon recognizing this, you can be free everywhere.
The past is behind us and the future has yet to come, so all we really know — all we have — is the present. Be grounded in the here and now for it is in this moment we can find true happiness and understand our reality.
What you must do is obvious. To achieve this feeling, you must travel deep within yourself. This moment, or spiritual experience, can be life-changing and it will only happen when you are truly in touch with your inner self.
Know that these tools are not just cognitive abilities, but also spiritual knowledge. Connect this spiritual knowledge to your physical world. Bring it into your day-to-day to turn thoughts into action.
It is easy to fall into being automated, but it is here we lose attention to detail. Try instead to go through life as if everything is happening for the first time. Stay curious, it will help you improve.
Think about knowledge as a pyramid. The people in power are at the top, disseminating information down through the minds of people they wish to control. We have been taught to rely on a calculated mind based on top-down information. This is about exploring the huge body of knowledge we have from using our own senses to collect and receive knowledge from the earth and from the universe. In order to maximize our experience, we must become the gardeners of our own thoughts. We have to till and care for the figurative environment to grow healthy and bountiful minds. Grow the things that nurture you. Healthy thoughts support a healthy being. You are in control.
Understand that we are — just as water, plants and animals — from the earth. Think about how we can learn from the other beings on earth, like animals, instead of mastering them: their simple way of being who they are in order to survive.
Be open to the universe and you will notice that nothing is a ritual, since there are always new discoveries waiting to be found.
Journey into these Shamanic quests or visions, since these deeper states hold the answers to some of the most burning questions you might hold.
Mother Earth is always there for you and you can always connect to Pacha Mama to receive healing and self-confidence. Go outside into nature, respect it and re-connect to it. It will be there to support you.
Plants are the same as us and animals. We think that they are simpler, but are in fact extraordinarily complex and they can teach us many things, even affect our consciousness and way of thinking. Everything we put into our bodies affects our thoughts. Find the guide in the things that are already there. Notice what is around you that can already be of help. It’s all out there, you just need to collect it and do it with respect. If you need help, reach out to those around you. Don’t try to fight it yourself for you are not alone.
This is about developing your spiritual side and your imagination. Dream big and let yourself envision big ideas. Don’t fear them or downgrade them. Think about the question with an open mind. Connect to your inner child and be naïve.
Try to peel back these layers to present your true self to the world — your true reflection. It is your real reflection that yields a pure and positive reaction. Don’t try to be something you are not, or reflect the person you are meeting. Influence the reaction you get in the world by bringing yourself into every situation. Be positive and be real.
It is about simultaneously looking within ourselves and taking in our externalities in order to achieve balance and oneness with the universe. Even though we exist in a material world, we are capable of reaching beyond and realizing our highest and most divine ideals, and in so doing, freely transitioning between physical, ethereal and visionary realms.
To be able to see - to recognize - potential is a positive thing, but it’s only the first step. It must be balanced by and grounded in reality on Earth.
Sometimes you need to communicate with people (and creatures) very different from yourself, and in these moments you can find rich learning experiences. Take this as a reminder to stay open-minded and accept others, regardless of difference.
Are things not ready to hatch? Like a chicken incubating its egg, given the right conditions, the egg will hatch. Incubate a situation in the same way, giving care to its environment and the “egg” will come to life.
It represents the beginning of a spiritual or shamanic journey; or the entrance into a new and other realm. This higher knowledge is available and accessible to everyone, you only need the right conditions and state of mind to attain it. There is an intuitive component involved — knowledge that is not fully possible to understand, yet recognizable once it is received and able to be fully experienced from that point onward.
One day, a horse showed up at a tribal camp and lay down before the chief. The chief mounted the horse and was taken to the neighbouring tribe. The meaning behind this painting is that you are meant to cross limits otherwise thought to be out of reach. The horse represents going beyond boundaries you would not normally cross. Cross those boundaries to find new passageways and reveal new thinking.
instead of approaching things through fear, hate or judgement of others. Cleanse your ego and find this pure energy — then, spread it.
This painting is about peeling back the layers to finally see the deeper you. Dive deep into yourself like the mermaid dives deep into the sea, to heal from energy you can find there. If you are working on something, dive deeply into it.
Dip into the intricate system of communication available to you, represented by the spores of the mushroom. The tiger signifies confidence — you must trust in who you are in order to cross consciousness. Attempting to cross with fear inside you will not work. To unblock yourself, trust that everything will be okay in this trip of crossing. Be open to communication and receive new knowledge without judgement.
Think about a river being in the middle of two plots of land. You are one side and must find the bridge that will get you to the right position on the other side. It might be difficult, but must be achieved to reach your goals.
Don’t be afraid to use the rebel energy to create new situations. This takes getting into higher vibrations and consciousness. Be original — the information comes from within, not from your external environment. Take from your own ideas and thoughts.
What is your position or function? What is the role you are playing? Connect to your Shaman, a metaphor to understand your abilities, and do so with no regrets. Once you find your role, do it with purpose.
It is knowable but not seeable, since it lies beyond the physical world. Open your third eye to connect to the universal database of knowledge. This is knowledge that comes from within, instead of what we take from our external world through our physical eyes.
This distance will give you clarity and objectivity to help you understand the situation better. Your vantage point is much more limited when you are too close to something. Better to get distance before taking action.
Try drinking water as if it’s your first time. Experience it without judgement — feel yourself tasting it and the water going through your body. Know that there is wisdom even in this. Drop all ego and judgement and notice when you are moving through life in an automated way. When you live in an automated mode, you miss the wisdom that lies all around you.
